Responsibilities

Position Summary

 

The Supervisor is responsible for managing the Retail team within an assigned territory.  This includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, training, coaching, motivating, and tracking store completions.

  • Must be available to be on call when needed and help with field work to accurately collect information on shelf in the retail environment

Travel and/or Driving Requirements

  • Travel and/or driving is required for this job.  Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education Level: (Required): High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years proven supervisory experience
  • Experience in retail environment (grocery, drug, mass, and/or home improvement)

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have excellent time management skills and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
  • Must be proactive, a good problem solver, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have strong E-mail, Internet, Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Environmental & Physical Requirements

 

Field / Reps Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work may be performed in an office, field, retail store, or warehouse environment. Typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each work day doing the following activities: engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift and/or push up to 25 kilograms, stand on feet for long periods of time, use products or cook food as appropriate for the demonstration, and may be required to work in extremely cold conditions (i.e. refrigerated and freezer sections). Also required to travel and drive. The use of proper safety practices when handling the products and/or cooking is essential.
