Position Summary
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an ability to plan, organize, coordinate, administer and control sales and sampling activity for the foodservice distributors we serve; primarily through end user customer/dining establishment visits throughout each day of the week. This will include excelling at generating and expanding business with all current and new end users/operators within Ontario by establishing and maintaining exceptional business relationships with the distributor representatives who sell to each end user.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Understand our manufacturers' and distributors' goals and needs; developing specific, actionable sales goals to meet these expectations.
• Increased sales - Target is to see 20 to 25 customers each week and record details of each visit in the company's CRM system on a daily basis.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow through to ensure increase in sales.
• Prepare for, attend and follow up after food shows, district sales meetings and item placement meetings. Attention to detail and follow through are critical for this aspect of the role.
• Complete daily reports in our CRM that clearly demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and the high level of commitment to manufacturers we represent.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Level: (Required): Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Preferably in entrepreneurship, business or marketing

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time, ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 5 kilograms.
